Grab-A-Cane is a patented invention by me, Donald Beyette. I was born with Holt Oram syndrome in 1949. My mother and father raised me as a normal child, not a handicapped child, because of that I became a working member of society.
In 2001, while working at my automotive repair shop, I was crushed between the front end of a pickup truck and a concrete wall. One of my employees was in the parking lot, and his foot slipped off the brake and full throttled it into the shop where I was working.

I was uncomfortable, always getting a crick in my neck. Unwilling to tolerate the discomfort, I set out to solve the problem of the gaping void of space between my head and the seat.
